15th January 2015. The date that Riddle Esports was created. Since then, we have gone from being just a small League of Legends club to being one of the biggest organisations in northern Europe. Through our success in Rainbow 6 Siege and League of Legends we have managed to spread our famous logo all throughout Europe and beyond. But as with all things, they sometimes just need an update. This is where our new rebrand comes in. Bringing a refreshing new aesthetic and look to the classic Riddle logo, we have stayed true to our roots, while also bringing ourselves into 2021 and beyond with branding that will help elevate Riddle to the next level. We sat down with founder and CEO KekMek to get some more details on the new look.
“We decided to update the logo because we felt that it was time to refresh the branding. We planned to do it closer to the 7-year anniversary but chose to do it a bit earlier as our old logo was quite difficult to work with due to things like the gradient. That is the reason we have moved to more of a flat type of logo to give us more flexibility in the use of the logo.”
“The goal behind the new logo is to freshen up the brand and make sure we are as modern and fresh looking as possible. After having our old logo for over 6 years it was definitely time for a change, and the timing is perfect!”
“I love it! The shape is very modern, and it is a lot cleaner compared to the old one. It’s also a lot easier to work with for our staff and as a graphic designer myself, I can say that it’s night and day when it comes to working with the logo!”
You will see the new logo and branding throughout our social media and on our BRAND-NEW website that will be launching soon! We look forward to sharing everything we have planned for Riddle going into 2022 and we hope that are as excited as us and will join us on the journey. #RIDDLEHYPE
